If we are not careful, we will live a life of regrets, because maybe we thought we'd have time. I've learned to treasure the time. I've learned there is so much value in the seconds of our day. For our seconds create minutes, our minutes create hours, our hours create days and our days create weeks and we will awaken to a place and time in our life, where we will ask ourselves where did it go?
I love moments, you can be intentional about creating them. Some are in your control, and some just are not, because those are moments when God interrupts our day to replace it with a moment of truly valuable time.
But each time God allows me to wake up to a new day, I can wake up with a mind determined not to let it slip through my hands. I can wake up with the enthusiasm that I don't know what's in the day, but I know who holds the day. To live a life with just regrets is no life really lived. To live a life just full of wishing you woulda, coulda, shoulda is no life really lived. But to be intentional to make those hours your awake be like the sun coming up in the horizon, you can then say this day is beautiful. It's beautiful because I'm alive in it. It's beautiful because I'm living my life on purpose; so that I don't have to ask myself, wait for it, wait for it, where did it go?
I want to finish each day I'm given, not letting anymore time just slip through my hands. But I want to be intentional about only waiting on God. Waiting on God to lead me in my day, then I'll know that my day is complete in Him. And that my friend is not time wasted.
Wait for it. Wait for it. Where did it go? Proverbs 3:5-6 states "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths."
